For the 14th straight year, The Variations Project takes the stage with a fabulous group of world premiere 10-minute plays by local authors. Following this past May's cold readings of all 74 submissions, we painstakingly chose 11 for the stage production.
But wait! There's more!
We're adding a series of staged readings for another eight plays to take place Aug. 16—19!
The 11 plays in the production are...
"Turnbuckle" by Mike Smith
"Springtime Cyclic" by Lee Conderacci
"Dark Side of Light" by Aladrian C. Wetzel
"Turbulence" by Shelby Chapman
"New Leaf" by Will Trace
"Fabricated Veal" by Rufus Drawlings
"For Puerto Rico" by Naimah Ezigbo
"A Familiar Member" by Tyrone Chapman
and Archie D. Williams Jr.
"Sack" by Meredith Barr and Max Garner
"Samson" by Tatiana Nya Ford
"Let's Kill Doug Because He Sucks" by Justin Lawson Isett
Variations on Sacrifice, directed by RLP Artistic Director Lance Bankerd, appears Aug 3 - 12.
Tickets $20 cash / $21 credit card
...and the eight plays in the inaugural staged reading series are:
“Sandalwood” by Tom Piccin
“Boris and Bozica” by Zoë DiGiorgio
“A Simple Pot of Soup” by Andrea Fine Carey
“The New News” by Gabe Fremuth
“Upright and Blameless” by Steffi Rubin
